Organic Southwest Gold Beans

The Southwest Gold Bean is a hybrid variety of the heirloom Zuni Gold bean and was developed by UC-Davis to be disease tolerant and have higher yields. Their parent bean, the Zuni Gold bean, is an indigenous crop of the Zuni people from the Four Corners region and is part of the Slow Food Ark of Taste. These are a great all purpose bean.
